Youth Program Outreach Coordinator

The role of the Outreach Coordinator is to provide outreach to build, develop and maintain relationships with schools, community members and agencies within the greater Sullivan County with the purpose of increasing youth participation in classes and events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TIME ON TASK EXPECTATIONS


Outreach coordination: (70%)

•  Work closely with program staff to plan, develop, and carry out ways to market SHINE (Sexual Health
    Information Network and Education) and other youth programs to the desired target audience within
    the Greater Sullivan County

•  Co-facilitate SHINE sessions with SHINE Educator

•  Actively recruit students

•  Creating and updating program schedules

•  Manage online marketing and social media

•  Creating and distributing educational materials including Monthly Installments and newsletters

•  Organize and schedule events that promote the agency and TLC Youth programming


Documentation: (20%)

•  Accurately report time worked using TimeWorksPlus

•  Develop a comprehensive outreach plan and weekly activity report

•  Accurate tracking of student participation incentives and follow up data

•  Enter survey responses into PREP spread sheet

Meetings/Trainings/Supervisions (10%)

•  Participate in supervision and self-evaluation

•  Participate in required trainings specific to youth adult preparation subjects

•  Attend and contribute towards scheduled team meetings

Requirements:

•  High school graduation or higher

•  Intermediate computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

•  Valid driver's license and insurance

•  Covid-19 Vaccination completed or in progress

•  Ability to pass a background check

Supervisor:  Youth Program Manager                                              Salary:  $18.00-$21.00                          

Location:  Administrative Office (not remote)                                Hours: 20 hours per week
