Cleaning Supervisor - Regular part-time
Summary: The Cleaning Supervisor will be primarily responsible for turnover of guest rooms, preparing for the next week, and mid-week housekeeping and cleaning supply inventory. You will report directly to the Facilities Director or Facilities Manager.
Hours:
· Turnover day (typically Thursday and Friday in the summer, Sunday the rest of the year), 8hrs each day
· Mid-week turnover 1-2x/wk x4hrs
Responsibilities: The Cleaning Supervisor performs a wide range of duties including but not limited to the following:
· Turnover day:
o Stripping beds, emptying refrigerators and trash in guest rooms
o Returning laundry basket to room with appropriate number of towels for next week of participants
o Place clean sheet set in each room for next week
o Organize and put any roll-aways or pack and plays, with sheets/blankets/pillows, into rooms for next week of participants
o Complete and put away laundry
· Mid-week cleaning:
o Gather any dirty linens from rooms that participants leave on floor or in laundry basket and replace with clean towels
o Empty trash in guest rooms and replace any needed toilet paper
o Clean common area bathrooms, replace toilet paper and paper towels, empty trash
o Manage housekeeping volunteers to assist
· Maintain highest quality of standards that ensure veteran family’s safety and success are #1.
Qualifications:
· Be organized and pay close attention to detail.
· Maintain control of the volunteers and ensure they are properly conducting business.
· Make a plan of action for volunteers to ensure all rooms are being cleaned.
