Recovery Support Specialist - Claremont
Our mission is to decrease stigma and harm associated with substance use by providing peer-based recovery support,
education, advocacy, and resource navigation for individuals and families. The Recovery Support Specialist role is to support others in their
recovery from substance use disorders by serving as a role model, mentor, advocate, and motivator to recovering
individuals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TIME ON TASK EXPECTATIONS
Comprehensive Recovery Support for individuals and families (45%)
• Scheduled sessions to provide recovery support and ongoing case management assistance
• Develop strong, healthy relationships with participants that support their healing processes and growth in their recovery journey
• Actively identify and support linkages to community resources that support the participant’s
goals and interests
• Perform intakes screenings and design recovery plans with new members requesting services
Facilitate groups specific towards recovery education and support (25%)
• Initial and ongoing trainings specific towards the groups being facilitated
• Ongoing documentation processes such as referrals, intakes, data entries, and data reports
• Connecting with community partners regularly to promote groups for referrals
Documentation (20%)
• Complete required electronic documentation and program-specific forms thoroughly, accurately, and on time using various data platforms as required by contract
• Accurately report time worked using TimeWorksPlus
Meetings/Trainings/Supervisions (10%)
• Participate in supervision and self-evaluation
• Participate in required trainings specific towards the recovery field and professional development
• Attend and contribute towards scheduled team meetings
REQUIREMENTS
• Intermediate computer skills
• Education and experience in recovery-based field preferred
• Able to work a minimum of one evening shift per week
• Proof of Covid-19 vaccination

Supervisor: Program Director Starting Salary: $22-$24/hour
Location: Claremont, NH Hours: 40 hours per week
