Marketing and Communications Coordinator

TLC Family Resource Center seeks a Marketing and Communications Coordinator who is eager to use their exceptional sales and marketing skills to promote the TLC brand and programs. Responsibilities include analyzing marketing data, building out a communications plan, website development, managing publicity, managing social media content, planning community events, and participating in community collaborations. This is currently a part-time (30 hour per week) position that requires in-person work activities as well as travel. TLC provides a flexible schedule and options to work remotely part of the time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TIME ON TASK EXPECTATIONS

Marketing (45% of time)

  • Develop marketing and communications plan that promotes TLC brand and programming
  • Develop content for social media, email, print materials and other marketing tools that increases engagement with TLC platforms and programs including family support, recovery, youth and Rural Outright
  • Manage TLC website, keeping program information, calendars, and content up to date
  • Develop marketing materials for TLC events and activities following TLC brand guidelines
  • Set up marketing tables at local businesses and events

Communications (45% of time)

  • Build out monthly communications for donors, community partners, clients using multiple platforms including newsletters, emails, press releases and social media
  • Develop donor acknowledgement materials including thank you letters, thank you videos, social media, and newsletter recognition
  • Coordinate fundraising campaigns using social media, email and other communications tools
  • Contact community partners to promote specific programs
  • Attend community collaboration meetings to promote TLC programs

Other (10% of time)

  • Complete required agency training and certifications
  • Participate in team meetings
  • Conduct annual self-evaluation for performance review

REQUIREMENTS

  • Associates Degree or 2+ years experience in sales, marketing, graphic design, or communications
  • Experience managing a website (preferred)
  • Must have valid Driver’s License to travel for work
